Improves PowerPoint text, shape, chart and effect fidelity, with a File view, a stronger Selection Pane and East Asian input support.

Improves PowerPoint text, shape, chart and effect fidelity, with a File view, a stronger Selection Pane and East Asian input support.

Text improvements cover superscript/subscript spacing, single spacing at 1.2 times font size, URL/Korean/CJK wrapping, joined color emoji, gradient text, shadows and glows. Symbol-font fallback, missing-font reporting and Office downloaded fonts are improved; text inside scaled groups retains its point size.

Adds 38 missing PowerPoint preset shapes and improves compound outlines, path gradients, pattern fills, soft edges, backgrounds and table styles. WMF/EMF rendering and embedded-object/ActiveX previews are supported. Chart legends, secondary-axis combination charts, number formats and transition fidelity are improved.

A PowerPoint-like File view includes Home, New, Open, Info, Save As, Print, Export and Close. The Selection Pane gains drag ordering, groups, Show/Hide All and locking; off-slide objects can be seen and grabbed. Korean, Japanese and Chinese input-method composition and interface text are improved, along with text keyboard operations.
