About

Bitfocus Satellite is a connection client for Bitfocus Companion. It lets Stream Deck controllers connected to different computers connect to one Companion instance, so operators at separate positions can use a shared, centrally managed configuration.

  • Connects multiple Stream Deck controllers from different computers to a single Companion instance.
  • Supports distributed operator positions, each with its own Stream Deck.
  • Keeps Companion configuration centralized on one computer; Companion does not need to be installed on each workstation.
  • This package installs the macOS application Companion Satellite.app.

Install with Homebrew using brew install --cask companion-satellite, then open Companion Satellite from Applications. The supplied cask requires macOS 13 or later. Satellite connects to Bitfocus Companion; the official product page links to help and documentation for setup details.
