    • codeburn update updates the CLI, the menu bar app and the desktop app in one go; --check lists what is out of date and --json returns a stable result for scripts.
    • The desktop app downloads and restarts on its own, and the CLI and menu bar app follow after the restart.
    • The menu bar update pill runs codeburn update and checks every 6 hours.
    • The Windows tray updates the CLI through codeburn update for Store and installer installs.
    • Download links always point at the latest release.

    Fixed

    • A menu bar download could crash the desktop app's update when the server closed the connection mid-download.
    • Releases publish to npm first, so an update never points at a CLI version npm does not serve yet.
