Carbon Copy Cloner
Bombich Software, Inc. · Configurable macOS backups with scheduled copying, file filters, snapshots and cloud-only file handling.
Carbon Copy Cloner is a Files and Storage app for Mac. It needs macOS 13 or later.
About
Carbon Copy Cloner is Bombich Software's macOS backup and copying utility. It lets you restore individual files, copy folders, recover data from a backup, and migrate data to another Mac or disk.
Backup tasks can run hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or when changes are detected. Day-of-week and time restrictions control when a task runs, and tasks can be paused and resumed. Filters define included and excluded content and preview the amount of data to be copied. Advanced workflows can mount and unmount backup disks, run shell scripts before or after a backup, and chain tasks together.
CCC also provides snapshot browsing and options for backing up cloud-only files. This listing is the standalone Carbon Copy Cloner Mac application, not CCC Mobile Backup. The Homebrew-recorded package requires macOS Ventura or later; the official download page specifies Ventura 13.1 or later.
