Canon PIXMA driver

Canon PIXMA driver is a CUPS driver for printing with the Canon PIXMA MG2500 series. The series manual covers the MG2510, MG2520, MG2540, MG2550, MG2560, MG2570, MG2580, and MG2590 models. This package is a printer driver, not a separate printing application.

• Provides the CUPS driver identified for the PIXMA MG2500 series.
• The Homebrew package installs a Canon printer-driver package and registers its MG2500-series printer description file.
• Canon’s series manual includes guidance about printing data from a computer, as well as separate sections about copying and scanning; those manual topics are not additional capabilities established for this driver package.

Install with brew install --cask canon-mg2500-driver. The cask declares a macOS dependency. After installation, select the relevant MG2500-series printer in your macOS printer setup and use it from an application’s print dialog.
