Android Studio Preview (Canary)

Android Studio Preview (Canary) is a preview release of Android Studio for building Android applications. It gives developers early access to the latest features and improvements in the development tools. This is the Canary variant, rather than the stable release; the Android Studio preview site also publishes release notes for Canary and release-candidate builds.

• The cask installs the app as Android Studio Preview Canary.app and provides the studio-canary command-line launcher.
• The official preview page says multiple preview versions can be installed side by side with stable Android Studio.

Install with brew install --cask android-studio-preview@canary. Launch the installed app, or start it from a terminal with studio-canary. To use the SDK, you must accept its license agreement. This is a preview build, not the stable Android Studio release.
