About
Air Video Server HD is the Mac server component of Air Video HD. It streams videos from a computer to Apple devices, so you can watch them without first transferring or converting the files.
- Share folders on your Mac for access to their videos from an Apple device.
- Stream videos over a local network or connect to the server over the internet.
- The Air Video HD service describes support for AirPlay streaming to a compatible Apple TV.
- The homepage describes encrypted streaming traffic outside your network.
Install with brew install --cask air-video-server-hd. The cask installs Air Video Server HD.app in /Applications and requires Rosetta. The product homepage lists OS X 10.8+ as a server requirement. Air Video Server HD is server software; the homepage separately directs users to the App Store for the client app.
