Details and links in #531.\r\n\r\n## Two shapes now\r\n\r\nLook has had one shape since the start: a wide window, results on the left, a preview on the right. That is the right shape when you are reading a file before you open it. It is the wrong shape when you want to type three letters and press Enter.\r\n\r\nSo there are two layouts, and you can switch between them without restarting.\r\n\r\n`Split` is the window you already know. `Compact` is Spotlight-width, the results list on its own.\r\n\r\nCompact is not Split with the right half chopped off. Everything that needed the width is gone: no preview panel, no running-apps strip, no super actions, no hint bar, no command sidebar. Both platforms.\r\n\r\n## Linux: frost on Plasma and niri\r\n\r\nBlur behind the window is the compositor's to grant, and Look asks on two more desktops now. KDE Plasma answers through `ext-background-effect-v1` on 6.7+, and through KDE's own protocol before that. niri answers as well.\r\n\r\nThe switch is `Settings > Advanced > Rendering > Blur behind window`, and it is present on every Linux desktop, including the ones that ignore the request. It starts on under KWin and off elsewhere, because taking the request and drawing it well are two different things. Turning it off is also what gives you a sharp view through, since the compositor frosts the whole window area or none of it.\r\n\r\nniri answers with xray blur by default: one blurred copy of the wallpaper, reused behind every window, so the frost never picks up what is actually below and looks like a snapshot that froze. On Plasma it opens KDE System Settings modules instead: `kcm_kscreen`, `kcm_bluetooth`, Plasma Style, Plasma Search, Login Screen, Background Services and the rest.\r\n\r\nKDE ships its modules in separate packages, so the catalog is filtered to what your install actually has. No rows that open nothing. On i3, sway or a minimal install with no settings app, there are still none at all, as before.\r\n\r\n## Kanagawa is the default on Linux and Windows\r\n\r\nNew installs open in Kanagawa. A fresh config no longer writes the `ui_*` keys at all: each one left out takes the shipped default, so a reset actually resets, and an empty or missing `ui_theme` means Kanagawa rather than whatever literal values were in the file. Tweak a colour and it writes `ui_theme=custom`. macOS keeps its own behaviour, where a tweaked theme is stored as its literal values.\r\n\r\nThe default border is 2px, and Kanagawa's text colour has been corrected.\r\n\r\n## Smaller things\r\n\r\n- **Super actions are off by default.** The strip is something you turn on in `Settings` now, not something that greets you on first run. `super_actions_enabled=true` brings it back.\r\n- **An animations switch**, on both platforms (`animations_enabled`). Off means the window appears and the lists redraw with no transitions.\r\n- **A new app icon.**\r\n- **App size in the macOS preview** reported the `.app` file rather than the bundle. It reports the whole bundle now, measured off the main thread so rows still appear immediately.\r\n- **Directory size in the linows preview** was wrong, so it is gone. A folder shows its file and nested-folder counts, same as macOS.\r\n- **Linux process rows** no longer truncate at 15 characters or come through as the interpreter that launched them, and a listening port now shows next to the PID. Ports show on macOS too.\r\n- **Windows file pickers** opened behind the launcher. The launcher is the picker's parent now and drops always-on-top while one is open, and only one picker can open at a time.\r\n- **Removed:** the `Ctrl + number` hint, and the back button on the
